From the Back of the Book

She came seeking family...Will she find love at Big Heart Ranch?

When pregnant single mother Hannah Vincent shows up professing to be the half sister of the Maxwells of Big Heart Ranch, horse trainer Tripp Walker is wary. Wounded before, he doesn't trust easily. If only Hannah and her feisty five-year-old daughter weren't so impossible to resist. Now, despite his doubts, joining this little family is quickly becoming the cautious cowboy's greatest wish.

My Thoughts

This was another good book in the Big Heart Ranch series. In the first scene, Hannah is having car trouble and Tripp comes to her rescue. I was drawn in right away when, during Hannah and Tripp's first exchange, Hannah's 5-year-old daughter Clementine pops her head into the front seat.

I enjoyed the interactions between Tripp and Hannah and I thought their relationship developed at a good pace. It was comical to read about Tripp in the baby store and the doctor's office. I admired Hannah for staying true to herself and I also liked her competitive spirit.

When the folks at Big Heart Ranch were trying to come up with a fundraising idea, Hannah suggested a cake walk. I had never heard of one before and I loved learning about it. I want to suggest a cake walk the next time I need to come up with a fundraising idea.

This is book four in the series, but can easily be read as a stand alone. I recommend that you read them all! If you like contemporary Christian fiction, I recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not asked to write a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
