Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all those who serve in the military and to their families.
It's Memorable Monday! This idea was created by Becca from The Becca Files to highlight books that we've read in the past and are memorable to us.
The book I'm highlighting today is Wish You Were Here by Beth K. Vogt.
Why It's Memorable
This is one of my all-time favorite books!!! (I know I say that every week, but I have a lot of favorites and I'm excited to share them. 😍) Now that I'm looking at it again, I want to read it again...right now! Since it's wedding season, I thought it would be a good time to highlight this book. It's a twist on what usually happens right before a wedding. And...there's a llama involved in the book so it appeals to the animal lover in me. I thought it was a lighthearted read and I recommend adding it to your summer reading list. I think I just added it to mine!
On another note, Beth K. Vogt has a blog that I enjoy reading. You can check that out here.
From the Back of the Book
Allison Denman is supposed to get married in five days, but everything is all wrong. The huge wedding. The frothy dress. And the groom.
Can Allison find her way out of this mess? Maybe she just needs to stop orchestrating everything. Allison prefers being the one in control, and giving it up is not going to be easy. But to find her way again, she will have to believe that God has a plan for her and find the strength to let Him lead.
Now It's Your Turn!
