First Line Friday - September 22, 2017

It's Friday again! I hope you had a good week. My week went by very quickly. I spent a few days at the beach where I got some quality reading time.

My first line today is from True to You by Becky Wade.

First Line Friday - September 15, 2017

Happy Friday! I hope this finds you at the end of a great week. I am looking forward to a weekend with lots of reading.

My first line today is from The Pattern Artist by Nancy Moser. I think the historical details in this book are amazing! If you enjoy historical Christian romance, I recommend this book.

Review: Paige's Turn by Jennifer Peel

One of my reading friends, who rarely steers me wrong with with book recommendations (or advice about life), recommended Paige's Turn by Jennifer Peel. Once again, she was right.

First Line Fridays - September 8, 2017

Happy Friday! I am so excited to be joining this group of First Line Friday bloggers! I remember the first time I saw it on Reading Is My Superpower and thought it was such a fun idea. I'm thrilled to be participating!

My first line today is from Blown Together by Janet W. Ferguson. I really enjoyed the other books I've read in this series and am looking forward to reading this one.

First Line Fridays are Coming!

I am so excited to be joining a great group of bloggers for First Line Fridays! Every Friday this group posts the first line of a book on their blog and invites readers to share the first line of a book in the comments. It's a great way to learn about new books and authors. Check back on Friday morning for my first "first line"!

Going for a Test Read

Have you ever wanted to take a new author for a "test read" without committing the time to an entire novel? I'm finding that an increasing number of authors are releasing (often free in e-book format) novellas that are prequels to a series. I've been loving these novellas and adding the novels in their related series to my To Be Read list! Here are a few that I have read or recommend trying.
